A couple days after “Ondoy” flooded Manila, my wife (Vero) invited my brother (David) and sister-in-law (Becky) over for dinner.
We came up with a few “offline” ideas to help raise funds for the typhoon victims. Here are our winners…
- Vero said: “We can put up an ‘Ondoy’ collection jar in local bars and eateries.”
- Becky said: “We can do a raffle and I can give away one of my paintings.”
- David said: “We can see if a local musician could do a benefit concert.”
- Mom phoned me and said: “I could take up a collection at church.”
